Dubai is accelerating its green mobility agenda by launching plans for ultra-fast EV charging stations for taxis Dubai. In 2025, the city will roll out over 200 rapid chargers across strategic locations, offering vital support to the taxi fleet’s electrification process. This initiative promises faster charging, lower emissions, and improved service for riders and drivers alike.


Why Dubai Needs Ultra-Fast EV Charging for Taxis


Deployment Plan & Locations

Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) and Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) signed a long-term agreement to install 208 ultra-fast charging points.
The first phase includes two major charging hubs: one near Dubai International Airport and another in Muhaisnah 4.

Additionally, DEWA has contracted with Parkin to install 100 new EV chargers across malls, communities, and leisure zones.
