So, what do we know so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n The overall design of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler seems to be fairly similar to current models, but there are a few key features that set it apart from the current model. Those expecting an extravagant re-design are likely to be disappointed; Jeep is keen to stay true to the ever-popular classic model.<\/p>\n FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne has stated that the new 2018 Wrangler will have certain parts made of aluminum to make the car much more lightweight. Fuel economy has been rumored to be much better on this new model, and there are also suggestions that it may include an eight-speed automatic transmission.<\/p>\n What is also interesting is that reporters have also heard changes in the noises of the car, which apparently sounds more like a diesel engine. Yet, leaked shots from a dealer have been made available to view online, portraying a very obvious seven-slot grille and the same circular headlights that are featured on current models. Photographers have also captured aerial shots of a pick-up Jeep Wrangler taking a test drive which also clarifies many of these rumors.
