The Ban of Toyota: An Argumentative

Toyota unveiled its new (2022) Land Cruiser 300 Series globally earlier this year. The brand’s flagship SUV got off to a positive start in its home market of Japan. It receives over 20,000 pre-orders already. However, according to a media report. Toyota makes sure that the customers of the new Land Cruiser do not buy the LC300 for export or resale purposes. Reports suggest that Toyota forbids its Land Cruiser customers to sell their SUVs for a period of 12 months, after taking delivery.

Lc300To clarify more, Toyota urges customers to sign a contract. They should confirm that they agree not to resell the vehicle for the above-mentioned period. Customers failing to follow the contract; the company bans them from buying another Toyota. However, the duration of the ban is not definite.  Furthermore, reports suggest that the repercussions may become so severe. Toyota cited “risk of foreign exchange law violations. In addition, usage may lead to major problems and threaten global security”. However, this is because taking such drastic steps is very risky. Reading between the lines, Toyota may become worry about the Land Cruiser falling into the wrong hands.

Toyota also works on providing the SUV to genuine customers who want the SUV for themselves. In order to achieve this, Toyota explained that it will not let those who would like to take advantage of its auto. Although it is a good idea that this argumentative company will not risk its own product, there are consequences. The consequences that relate to this decision is even so worth. Anyhow, this is a good reason for this giant company for preserving its own auto reputation regardless of the consequences. In conclusion, this company will further gain lots of customers hopefully regardless of all these pitfalls.
